Lorena Garza Garcia, MD completed her general surgery internship with University of Illinois Chicago at Chicago, IL and her diagnostic radiology residency at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. She then proceeded to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL where they focus on innovative minimally invasive procedures including prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, chemoembolization and radioembolization of hepatocellular cancer amongst many others.
She is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Society of Interventional Oncology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe and Sociedad Iberoamericana de Intervencionismo.
