Dara Omer, M.D. is from the Northeast where he completed his BS in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He attended medical school at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Buffalo, NY. His internship was at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY. He went on to complete a Vascular Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh after graduating from a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Omer is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Prior to relocating to New Mexico, he was a radiologist for a private practice in the Pacific Northwest where he served as section chief for Interventional Radiology. His interests include acute patient care, kyphoplasty and sacroplasty, and cancer care.
