Dr. Bradshaw was raised in Midland, Tx. He attended Texas Tech University and received a degree in History. He then graduated in 1990 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Tx. In 1994 he completed his radiology residency at The University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Center and neuroradiology fellowship in 1995 at the University of New Mexico.
